28 venues around the town centre exhibit exciting work by artists from the group Artworks. At the Gallery we will be exhibiting work by Constance Stubbs. The Art Trail was set up by the Wildwood Gallery, Bury St Edmunds Festival, Risbygate Arts and the Art Gallery as part of the 2003 Festival.
During May and June sheds will take over the Abbey Gardens. Local organisations have been invited to create their own place of refuge within a garden shed - come and see the results.

Sixteen international sculptors and film & video artists have created real and imaginary places of escape in the Gallery. The curator, Angela Kingston, selected the work in response to the sense of displacement she felt after moving to a new city.
