‘Making things out of stuff that others throw away is very liberating. It’s a bit like being a kid and pretending that this cardboard box is an aeroplane. The things I make are very "British"; I have a fondness for suburbia, a world of settees, magazine racks and standard lamps, the very things that I have always wanted to escape.’ Andy Hazell

Andy Hazell's work is extremely distinctive and widely enjoyed for its humour, keen observation of everyday life and inventive use of recycled materials. This fascinating exhibition will include small-scale automata, sculptures, chandeliers and documentation about large public commissions.
