2 July – 30 July
This year the Art Society’s summer exhibition coincides with the completion of the Cathedral tower which is making a permanent impact on the landscape of Bury St Edmunds. It is a major achievement for the town, incorporating fine craftsmanship and skilled engineering. The artist members of the Society will be exhibiting a wide range of work but there will also be a section of the exhibition devoted to their responses to this historic event. This will include work by Lillias August, who has worked as the artist in residence during the building of the tower and recorded every step of its progress – often documenting fascinating details that can no longer be seen.

22 - 24 July Cathedral Festival Weekend
The Gallery will be open for the full weekend of the celebrations planned for Angel Hill and the Abbey Gardens so that visitors can see local artists` work about the new Cathedral tower.
